Duggan Brothers have today shared news their new partnership with SustainIQ. The investment in this new partnership is a testament to the increasing commitments by Duggan Brothers to their wider sustainability goals and journey.

One of Ireland’s leading general building contractors for the last 101 years, Duggan Brothers have completed circa 1,000 projects (and counting) both in the public and private sectors. In that time, the contractor has placed their communities at the heart of every project, working to protect the environment and prioritise the livelihoods of people in surrounding areas.

Focusing on furthering those commitments, this partnership with SustainIQ signals a move toward a new stage in the businesses ever evolving ESG commitments.

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) report highlights a rapid rise in atmospheric GHG emissions which are now at their highest worldwide. In Ireland, this is primarily driven by human activities, principally the combustion of fossil fuels.

Construction companies now must work to actively monitor and reduce fugitive emissions from combustion activities, and so with this move, Duggan Brothers will understand their impact and be able to get better visibility of the performance of investments to reduce their overall footprint.
