SustainIQ shortlisted as a regional finalist in Intertrade Ireland Seedcorn competition

SustainIQ has been named as a regional finalist in Intertrade Ireland's Seedcorn Investor Readiness Competition. The Seedcorn contest mirrors the real-life investment process, and offers participants the opportunity to win a share of a €300,000 cash prize fund.

Intertrade Ireland has been helping small businesses in Ireland and Northern Ireland explore new cross-border markets, develop new products, processes and services and become investor ready for over two decades. The Seedcorn competition aims to help innovative businesses across the Island prepare for investment, and gain exposure to the investor community, aiming to stimulate business growth for companies both in Northern Ireland and Ireland.

SustainIQ, founded in 2018, is a sustainability & ESG reporting software business with headquarters based in Belfast. The company has experienced rapid growth in recent months, and is set for wider expansion in 2023 onward.

Shortlisted in the early stage category, Team SustainIQ will go head-to-head with the other finalists, named Basalt Distillery and ReproGo, on the 9th November 2022.

In response to the announcement, SustainIQ Co-Founder Liam McEvoy said, "It's great to be named a finalist in this years' Seedcorn competition. From 2018, SustainIQ has developed from strength to strength rapidly, moving from our MVP product through to the strong market offering it is today.

"Being recognised as a finalist is a great privilege alone to our team, and a recognition of the calibre of our business plan. It's a really exciting time for SustainIQ, and we're looking forward to participating in the final on the 9th November - we'd like to wish our fellow finalists all the best on the day".
